Department Of Telecommunications (DOT)has launched a portal from there you may get your lost smartphone.

First, you have log on to Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR)
On their homepage, there is a tab called Block stolen/ Lost Mobile click on it.
Upon clicking on it new web page will open there you have to fill the details below
Firstly, Device information :
Mobile number 1, IMEI number, Brand, device model and upload the mobile purchased invoice.
Subsequently, Lost information :
Which include lost place, lost date, select State/ UT, select District, select police station, police complaint number, upload police complaint copy.
Eventually, Mobile Owner personal information :
In these segment you have to add Owner Name, Address, Upload identity ( Aadhar, pan card, Voter ID, Driving license Other identities) anyone you need upload and have to identity number for the same, Email id.
Upon completing all these steps later hit on get OTP and type on Mobile Number for OTP.
Give Declaration and submit that’s it.
After verification lost mobile will be blocked and not functional on another network sim.
At present this facility is operational for Maharashtra subscribers (Lost/Stolen on /after 13/09/2019), and Delhi subscribers (Lost/Stolen on /after 30/12/2019).
Smartphone Unblock yourself :
If you get lost smartphone then again you to visit same website and click in Un-Block Found Mobile then enter the details
Request ID, Mobile number, Reason for blocking and mobile number for OTP
Another advantage of this portal is if you are planning to buy second hand(old phone) from the unknown person, and you have doubt might be stolen smartphone. You can check the
IMEI number by dialling *#06# the IMEI no. will be shown on display. If status of the mobile is shown as blacklisted, duplicate or already in use, please avoid buying the mobile.
